- Last year was all about the ISIS and the suicide bombers on all continents, destroying everything and everyone they touched. They took away too many life’s, which is why it wouldn’t be bad to know where are the suicide bombers concentrated, just in case.
Don’t want to spoil, but this year has started quietly. Unlike the last year, when all the attacks, kidnapping and taking innocent lifes, this year is not that spectacular and we honestly hope that it will remain that way.
According to the CPOST (Chicago Project on Security and Terrorism) 2016 Suicide Attack Database, the biggest concentration of suicide bomber’s attacks during the period between 2010 and 2016 was in Iraq. To be more precise, there were 884 attacks in 6 years, which is about 13 attacks per month, or every second day. The most disturbing number that appeared in those databases is 8,211 which is the number of the innocent victims who lost their lifes in this actions.
On the bright side, when Insider Monkey’s research team compiled the list of 10 countries with the most suicide bombers, the 10th place was taken by Lebanon with 28 attacks and 44 casualties in 6 years, which is basically nothing in compare to Iraq.
