We have picked three states from their list: Kansas, Delaware, and Missouri. In Kansas the annual median wage is $73,270, the job growth is 10.5%; and the cost of living index: 90.4. In Kansas we can find the lowest costs of living, but the truth is, that this states pays the less of all in Insider Monkey’s list. The number of employment will increase from2,260 to 2,500 in the future. Now the unemployment rate is 3,8% in this state. The next state we have chosen for now is Delaware. Here the annual median wage of mechanical engineers is $95,330.
Job growth: 5.9%, the cost of living index is 102.6. The unemployment rate is 4,8% in this state, and the government plans to employ only 40 mechanical engineers more than now. And last, but not least we would like write about Missouri where the annual median wage is $79,340, the job growth is 8.2%, while the cost of living index is 90.8. This state will employ 310 more mechanical engineers than before, so the number will increase from 3,680 to 3,990. The state’s unemployment rate is 3.9%.
