Twitter Inc (NYSE:TWTR) is making some rapid change in its top management team. It recently came to light that the company’s head of product communications, Carolyn Penner, will be heading Vine’s communication and marketing. Re/code revealed this news in one of its posts recently.
Penner will leave Twitter Inc (NYSE:TWTR)’s office in Silicon Valley and relocate to the New York City for her new job. Vine is a company that specializes in six second video sharing service, it was acquired by Twitter Inc (NYSE:TWTR) in October, 2012. Penner is the oldest serving member of Twitter Inc (NYSE:TWTR)’s communication team. According to the source, right after the launch of Vine’ app early last year, Penner handled communication for the company.
As of June 30, 2014, John Thaler’s JAT Capital Management owns over 7 million shares in Twitter Inc (NYSE:TWTR), making it one of the largest shareholder in the company.
