(NASDAQ:AAPL)’s Apple Pay is being regarded by many as a product that will revolutionize digital transactions and almost every company that is selling goods directly to consumer has taken note of that. For The Walt Disney Company (NYSE:DIS), Apple Pay can mean that customers don’t have to wait in long queues for transactions at its theme park, making their experience even more pleasant. Jay Rasulo, CFO of The Walt Disney Company (NYSE:DIS) recently discussed the company’s strong ties with Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) and how Apple Pay is going to benefit his company, on CNBC.

“We feel that guests who, with one touch on their Apple 6 or their Apple 6 Plus or on their new Apple Watch, can make a transaction, is really a huge advantage to our cast members in the kinds of transactions that people do at our parks. It’s going to speed them along, it’s going to make them easy for us, it’s going to make that easy for them […],” Rasulo said.

Rasulo feels that the guests at The Walt Disney Company (NYSE:DIS)’s theme park will enjoy the convenience of doing transactions through Apple Pay. He insisted that The Walt Disney Company (NYSE:DIS) has a “broad” relationship with Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL), apart from the relationship of his company’s CEO being there on Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL)’s Board. According to him, the introduction of The Walt Disney Company (NYSE:DIS)’s TV shows on Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL)’s iTunes was the stepping stone of the relationship that the two companies share now, which has been strengthened by other deals between them.

As of June 30, 2014 Carl Icahn’s Icahn Capital LP owns over 52 million shares in Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) and Ken Fisher‘s Fisher Asset Management owns over 8 million shares in The Walt Disney Company (NYSE:DIS).
