The financial services giant currently holds almost 6% of SINA Corp (NASDAQ:SINA)’s outstanding stock. In its latest 13F filing, Morgan Stanley (NYSE:MS) revealed holding some 345,100 shares of the company.
SINA Corp (NASDAQ:SINA) is engaged in online media, operating several platforms specialized in delivering professional and user-generated content to China, as well as global Chinese communities. Among the shareholders of SINA Corp is also Kerr Neilson‘s Platinum Asset Management, which reported a $263.2 million stake containing 4.36 million shares, and Steven Cohen‘s SAC Capital with 864,200 shares, worth $52.2 million.
