AEW Capital Management’s largest equity bet is Simon Property Group Inc (NYSE:SPG). The fund holds slightly over 3 million shares in the company. That reflects a decrease from a holding of nearly 3.2 million shares at the end of the second quarter. AEW Capital Management’s new position in Simon Property Group Inc (NYSE:SPG) has an estimated value of $502 million.
Brad Dunkley And Blair Levinsky’s Waratah Capital Advisors held 32,320 shares of Simon Property Group Inc (NYSE:SPG) at the end of the second quarter of 2014. While Matthew Tewksbury’s Stevens Capital Management held 219,982 shares.
Equity Residential (NYSE:EQR) is the second largest stock in the portfolio of AEW Capital Management. The fund owned more than 4.1million shares with and an estimated value of $255 million in the $25 billion REIT at the end of the third quarter. That compared with nearly 4.4 million shares held at the end of the previous quarter, which means AEW Capital Management reduced its exposure to the stock in the third quarter.
Equity Residential (NYSE:EQR) witnessed two insider selling last week. The company’s EPV, W Allan George sold 25,000 shares. The other selling insider was CEO, J David Neithercut, who offloaded 50,000 shares.
AEW Capital Management’s third largest equity position is Boston Properties, Inc. (NYSE:BXP). The fund held nearly 2.2 million shares with a value of $253 million in the self-administered REIT in the latest filing. AEW Capital Management decreased its exposure to the stock in the third quarter. It held about 2.3 million shares in the company at the end of the previous quarter.
