One of key product management employees of Facebook, Inc (NASDAQ:FB), Samuel Lessin would be resigning his job as the company’s vice president of product management, according to Reuters.
According to Reuters, Lessin made the news about his resignation public on a social networking site, saying his departure would be effective from August 29. It is important to remember that Lessin wasn’t a direct hire by Facebook, Inc (NASDAQ:FB), instead he joined the company when the file sharing website that he founded ‘Drop.io’, was acquired by Facebook, Inc (NASDAQ:FB) in 2010. Lessin says that he doesn’t have any immediate plans as of now, but intends to help his wife in running her publication, the Information. Lessin also mentioned that is his past performance is any indication, he would be starting something soon. Even though he doesn’t know what it would be as of now, he is confident that he will soon figure it out.
