Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT) strengthened its strategic partnership with Best Buy Co Inc (NYSE:BBY) by opening 24 new Window Stores in Best Buy Co Inc (NYSE:BBY)’s Chicago area locations. Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT) announced this development in a recent post on its Windows blog. Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT) had opened 13 Windows Store in Best Buy Co Inc (NYSE:BBY)’s Chicago area stores last year too.
Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT)’s Windows stores would be located within Best Buy Co Inc (NYSE:BBY)’s locations and will range from 1,500 square feet to 2,200 square feet in space. Apart from the latest laptops, desktops and PCs on central showcase tables, the Windows stores will also have a dedicated Surface area, showcasing Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT)’s Surface Pro 3 tablets. The stores will also have a back wall featuring Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT)’s software and accessories.
