This patent is for the development of a system that will refine the karaoke systems based on the audience sentiments and audio watermarking.
International Business Machines Corp. (NYSE:IBM)’s Cloud sales are depleting and its SoftLayer platform is no longer used by the major companies. Amazon, Google, Microsoft are giving it a tough time. The source said that International Business Machines Corp. (NYSE:IBM)’s consulting business is also not thriving because of the decline of outsourcing trend in the global markets.
The patent details reveal that International Business Machines Corp. (NYSE:IBM) wants to add social networking and smart evaluation of Karaoke. International Business Machines Corp. (NYSE:IBM) says that conventional Karaoke system can only be evaluated based on the reactions and feedback of the people sitting in front of the signer. But this does not inculcate the need of social interactions. Many people want to do Karaoke on social media. International Business Machines Corp. (NYSE:IBM) wants to design a system that will help the online Karaoke systems. The originality of the content will be an issue here as anyone can do Karaoke on the social media by playing back the work of someone else. The patent reveals that International Business Machines Corp. (NYSE:IBM) will use biometric systems to ensure that the person doing the Karaoke is doing his own work.
The source said that Karaoke may seem an outdated thing, but International Business Machines Corp. (NYSE:IBM) could really turn it into a profitable business if it embeds and integrate it to make a Karaoke Analysis-as-a-Service Cloud business.
