Intel Corporation (NASDAQ:INTC) is trying to explore additional revenue stream. The company is betting big on Internet of Things (IOT), as it believes it would be a major money spinner for the company in the near future. In a press release issued recently, Intel Corporation (NASDAQ:INTC) said that it would be extending its Intel® IoT Developer Kit by releasing the Intel® XDK IoT Edition.
The Intel® XDK IoT Edition will enable developers to simplify the development of Internet of Things apps that they write in Javascript. Intel Corporation (NASDAQ:INTC)’s XDK IoT Edition also includes tools that help developers to create, debug and run apps on Intel® Edison and Intel® Galileo boards. Another great feature of the Intel® XDK IoT Edition is that developers can develop an HTML5 companion app that will run on tablets, PCs and Phones to control IoT devices.
