The company proudly announced this news by issuing a press release recently.
Intel Corporation (NASDAQ:INTC)’s team built an application called ‘Shower with Friends’ in less than 24 hours and went on to win the first prize among the 132 teams that participated in the competition. The App was built using Intel® Galileo Gen 2 development board and helps in conserving water by letting people compare their actual water usage.
As of June 30, 2014, Ken Fisher‘s Fisher Asset Management owns over 18 million shares in Intel Corporation (NASDAQ:INTC).
