The beginning of September promises to be full of exciting events. So far, we almost certainly know that we are most likely going to see the release of the new iPhone on September 9. In addition, Intel Corporation (NASDAQ:INTC), in a recent blog post presented some of the key points that it will present during its Intel Developer Forum (IDF) 2014, which will take place September 9-11 in San Francisco. Among the highlights of the even, Intel Corporation (NASDAQ:INTC) mentioned keynote speeches from the company executives, experts and developes and over 150 technical sessions, and panels, as well as demonstrations of the research results of Intel Labs.
One of the main parts of the IDF will be the Intel Labs Innovation pavilion, where Intel Corporation (NASDAQ:INTC) will present some of the progresses and inovations. As Intel Corporation (NASDAQ:INTC) mentioned in its post, the pavilion will feature “Jimmy”, a robot, which is part of the 21st Century Robot Project, aiming to developing a new class of open source, “do-it-yourself” robots, among other things. The pavilion will also showcase projects aimed at developing solar-powered devices for disaster relief and scalable Internet of Things security.
