HollyFrontier Corp (NYSE:HFC), saw one of its top tier insiders lower his position with the company through a transaction officially filed today, August 25th. Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary Clark Denise McWatters sold a total of 9,662 shares at average prices ranging from $51.21 to $51.22 per share. Following this move, McWatters still has 30,528 shares directly invested into the corporation. HollyFrontier Corp (NYSE:HFC), is a $10.14 billion market cap company that is a petroleum refiner, which produces light products, such as gasoline, diesel fuel, jet fuel, specialty lubricant products, and specialty and modified asphalt.
In addition, the largest outside involvement comes from the hedge fund controlled by Billionaire D.E. Shaw, the D E Shaw fund. This fund reported a 10% increase in its activity over the course of last quarter, and now holds about 4.16 million shares worth around $182 million invested in the corporation.
