Hewlett-Packard Company (NYSE:HPQ) has announced that it is going to release a new server family dedicated for Cloud systems. The computer giant announced its partnership with Foxconn a few months back but now, the plans are public and HP has named that new service family for Cloud computing platforms as ‘CloudLine’. Hewlett-Packard Company (NYSE:HPQ) is struggling to get business initiatives in the PC market. The company has rolled out several new laptops and tablets, but so far the revenue streams are conventional. Hewlett-Packard Company (NYSE:HPQ) wants to integrate its conventional Cloud capabilities with the emerging server and data center business. Its new initiatives in the Open Computer project with Facebook are also getting huge fame. Hewlett-Packard Company (NYSE:HPQ) wants to design customized hardware and Cloud solutions for new players in the industry in less cost.
Hewlett-Packard Company (NYSE:HPQ)’s new server line for Cloud will be specifically designed for hyper-scale Cloud environments, where practically hundreds and thousands of servers work together in a collaborative environment. Hewlett-Packard Company (NYSE:HPQ) said that it is planning to launch rack-scaling technology in order to centralize the cooling, and accessories of massive servers. This step would cut the costs and increase the efficiency of the Cloud platforms.
Hewlett-Packard Company (NYSE:HPQ) is going to use the smart platform management space in order to smartly support the cross-platform hardware and software support. Hewlett-Packard Company (NYSE:HPQ) said that its CloudLine server family will create a new era in the emerging Cloud solutions.
