Facebook Inc (NASDAQ:FB) and Google Inc (NASDAQ:GOOGL) are blocked in China for years. But on some special occasions, Chinese government become kind enough to losse the chains of the famous social media websites in order to get a good name in the notorious technology circles. A big technology conference is taking place in Wuzhen, China these days. Chinese government has allowed the famous websites like Facebook Inc (NASDAQ:FB), Google Inc (NASDAQ:GOOGL) and Youtube for a week days. China is hosting the Internet Conference for three days and today is the last day of it. A few days ago, Facebook Inc (NASDAQ:FB) and Google Inc (NASDAQ:GOOGL) were opened because of the Asia Pacific Economic Corporation meeting in Beijing.
Sadly, the temporary ban lift of Google Inc (NASDAQ:GOOGL) and Facebook Inc (NASDAQ:FB) doesn’t depict any change of strict policies of Chinese regulatory authorities. Despite of the requests, investments and other actions from the international websites, entrepreneurs and governments, Chinese government is not moving an inch from its stance of mass blocking of the internet services.
Famous companies like LinkedIn, Tecent, Softbank and Alibaba are taking part in the conference. Chinese government beefed up its internet blockage outside the confinement of the internet conference. Verizon issued a statement in which, it said that Chinese government is blocking its Verizon Communications’ EdgeCast network traffic without any reason.
Experts think that the blockade of Google Inc (NASDAQ:GOOGL) and Facebook Inc (NASDAQ:FB) in China is harming the local markets. China is not letting its population to get an exposure of international tech standards. Google Inc (NASDAQ:GOOGL) and Facebook Inc (NASDAQ:FB) are two of the primary sources of information, news, research and entertainment.
