Annual Allen & Company conference at picturesque Idahoan mountain resort of Sun Valley is kicking off today. Allen & Company conference, known as the summer camp of the billionaires, takes place every year, conducted by influential investment bank, Allen and company. This year, a lot of tech moguls and tycoons are expected to attend Sun Valley. Bloomberg took a quick look on the richest tech moguls who are taking part in today’s conference. Google Inc (NASDAQ:GOOGL) is one of the top attendees this year. Two confounders of Google Inc (NASDAQ:GOOGL), Sergey Brin and Larry Page, are reported to be attending the Sun Valley conference this year. Both are two of the richest tech personalities of the world. Larry Page has a net worth of $32.7 Billion and his second biggest deal ever was acquisition of DoubleClick in 2007, costing $3.2 Billion.
Sergey Brin, cofounder of Google Inc (NASDAQ:GOOGL), having net worth of $32.5 Billion is also attending the conference and he is one of richest persons to be in the Sun Valley this year. Brin’s biggest deal was the acquisition of Motorola in 2011, costing $12.5 Billion.
Among other eminences who are on invited to attend the Allen and company conference are: Bill Gates, Tim Cook, Mark Zuckerberg, Rupert Murdoch, Barry Diller and Harvey Weinstein, Pinterest chief. Jack Ma, China’s richest man and founder of Alibaba.com is also invited to the conference but he is not attending according to the reports. Though, the August IPO by Alibaba is likely to be a topic of discussion in the conference. The security in Sun Valley is all beefed up. Security personnel and law enforcement agencies have cordoned off the area.
Tech moguls make striking deals or pave way for further business acquisitions each year in this conference. Google Inc (NASDAQ:GOOGL) confounders are also expected to make cozy negotiations at the Sun Valley.
