Google Inc (NASDAQ:GOOGL) announced yesterday that it added 36 new university campuses across the U.S. and Canada to the Street View feature on Google Maps. Google Inc (NASDAQ:GOOGL) already offers a host of locations across the world in Street View. With the addition of these new 36 universities, parents and students would be able to take a virtual tour of these campuses to get a feel of the premises.
To see if Google Inc (NASDAQ:GOOGL) has enabled Street view tour for a university, one needs to search for a particular university on Google Maps and click on the ‘Pegman’ to enter the Street View imagery. The new universities added to Street View tour include Georgetown University in Washington, D.C.; University of Miami; and University of Regina in Canada.
