eBay Inc (NASDAQ:EBAY) never ceases to prove from time to time that now it’s not merely an auction website. eBay is becoming a larger market entity now having multiple monetizing and social threads all across different market domains. eBay has just launched its high-end fashion services after which different brands like Calvin Klein, Rebecca Minkoff, and Cynthia Rowley will stage their products on eBay Inc (NASDAQ:EBAY) website and fashion designers, normal buyers and enterprises will be able to make large scale orders. Clothing brands will get a chance to elevate their sales beyond the scope of the outlets which are scarcely available in the third world countries. Now anyone from anywhere can view and order mainstream brand clothing products.
In an interview on Bloomberg, Ramy Brook Founder and Creative Director, Ramy Sharp, said that she is more than happy to join hands with eBay in this new complete shopping hub portal by the e-commerce giant as this will give an opportunity to the designers to showcase their art at a wider channel.
“The world is changing, women don’t have time to shop like they used to do in stores, and they trust eBay, its great customer service, its guaranteed returns,” said Sharp.
eBay Inc (NASDAQ:EBAY) takes it as an opportunity to harness the fashion aspect of the market that was long missing, especially if we talk about the clothing industry. Experts are also seeing this designer’s collective step by eBay as a chance for the mainstream brands to enhance their digital footprint. All the famous brands will now be staging their products at full price and most important of all, eBay will offer the digital showroom of all the latest clothing from your favorite brands
Sharp also said that she has noticed an increase in her website traffic after her art work and portfolio got hosted on eBay’s shopping hub so that is an indication of the eBay’s latest shopping expansion reach.
