In an article, QZ quoted GSM and showed the chart which clearly tells that Facebook Inc (NASDAQ:FB)’s website is far more engaging for users as compared to Twitter. Chart shows that Facebook has got around 1200 million monthly active users. Twitter Inc (NYSE:TWTR)’s website, on the other hand has approximately 250 million monthly active users. The number of uploads made on Facebook Inc (NASDAQ:FB)’s platform each day are around 1000 million whereas Twitter’s daily uploads are not even close to 200 million. Uploads include anything shared or uploaded by a user in the form of text, photo or video.
The article quoted Adam Bain, Twitter Inc (NYSE:TWTR)’s head of revenue, who said that Twitter Inc (NYSE:TWTR) is completely satisfied with this engagement rate as its dynamics are totally different from Facebook Inc (NASDAQ:FB).
