Diane von Furstenberg, the owner of fashion designing company and brand of the same name has come up with revamped and stylized version of Google Inc (NASDAQ:GOOGL) Glass and announced that her company will now be officially launching the first lot of this amazing Google Inc (NASDAQ:GOOGL) Glasses for fashion wear very soon. Bloomberg’s Jon Erlichman reported from Sun Valley and said that, Diane von Fürstenberg, formerly Princess Diane of Fürstenberg, was in talks with Google Inc (NASDAQ:GOOGL) since two years. It all started at the Allen and company conference at Sun Valley. The final deal seems to have taken place at the same place as Allen & Company LLC conference is going on these days at scenic Sun Valley resort. DVF Glass fashion created a Google Glass line that comes in an array of colors such as shiny elderberry or matte java.
“They worked on coming up with some branded DVF Google Inc (NASDAQ:GOOGL) Glass, more fashionable, of course you’ve got to buy the original Google Inc (NASDAQ:GOOGL) Glass which is $1500, but then you get a little DVF style, so she was coming up today and sporting her first pair of these stylized Diane von Furstenberg Google glass,” said Erlichman.
Bloomberg also showed a small piece of Furstenberg’s comments about the deal. She said that the deal was in the pipeline for two years.
“It was a great collaboration, I love working with, you know, technology, it’s just a beginning,” said Furstenberg.
Google Inc (NASDAQ:GOOGL) Glass model of DVF glasses will cost $1800, which is quite a hefty price tag according to the experts.
Answering the question about the deals and business progress till yet at the Sun Valley conference, Erlichman said that there isn’t much activity in public yet, but there are a couple of business deals going on in the rooms. The first is Comcast Corporation (NASDAQ:CMCSA) and Time Warner Inc (NYSE:TWX) transaction, and the second one is AT&T Inc (NYSE:T) and DIRECTV (NASDAQ:DTV) transaction.
