Senior Vice President Carlos Barroso sold 2,016 shares at an average price of $41.96 per share. Following this transaction, Barroso now has a total of 29,993 shares invested directly in the famous soup company.
Campbell Soup Company (NYSE:CPB), is a $13.26 billion market cap company that, together with its subsidiaries, is a manufacturer and marketer of branded convenience food products. Campbell is not only involved with soup; the Company operates in five segments: U.S. Simple Meals; Global Baking and Snacking; International Simple Meals and Beverages; U.S. Beverages; and North America Foodservice.
The company has multiple investors, however, the largest is the hedge fund run by Jim Simons: Renaissance Technologies. This fund dropped its activity by 65% last quarter but still holds 1,093,100 shares worth approximately $49 million in the corporation.
