Though the pictures and other specifications of the device are readily available on many websites now, we found a new video floating around YouTube from ‘The Lowdown’, which shows the device up, close and personal.
Ever since BlackBerry Ltd (NASDAQ:BBRY) revealed the design of the Passport, it has found its fair share of fans and critics due to its unconventional ‘square’ look. Even though some might find the look unpleasant, according to the video the square shape actually is hugely beneficial for the keyboard of the device as it is much wider than other phones, giving users a comfortable and faster typing experience. The keyboard can also be used as a touchpad, enabling users to move around web pages and delete words by swapping their fingers across the screen. The device also has a great voice control and a button on the side of the phone that lets the user access the device instantly. BlackBerry Ltd (NASDAQ:BBRY)’s Passport uses stainless steel instead of the conventional aluminium for the body of the phone.
