BlackBerry Ltd (NASDAQ:BBRY) is set to launch its new Classic phone. There is an important addition in it: Toolbelt, a set of five buttons which can perform general quick tasks like menu, back, forward, end. In an article on N4BB, it was reported that the BlackBerry Ltd (NASDAQ:BBRY) is trying to bring in the stubborn users of the phone, which were beleaguered at the introduction of swipe gesture. The company launched some swipe features in BlackBerry Ltd (NASDAQ:BBRY) 10. Most of the users liked it, but many business users, the backbone of the company, didn’t feel easy with them. Consequently, the company recorded some device degrades and even migration to Android or iOS platforms.

He thinks that all those people who are expecting a lot from Toolbelt feature of the new Classic phone, there is a big disappointment coming for them. He said that hard buttons are the key factor behind the productivity of BlackBerry Ltd (NASDAQ:BBRY) phones. The screen remains clear of all the extra controls that he user can just focus on buttons to get the job done. But the company is trying to mesh with Android and iOS; most of the apps used in these OS are touched based.
Harty also said that Toolbelt will make BlackBerry Ltd (NASDAQ:BBRY)’s TrackPad pointless because the users cannot sift through apps and data because of it in BBOS 10. This can be a problem for the company in future as TackPad is one of the trademark features of its phones.
