Shares of discount retailer Big Lots (BIG) jumped to a three-month peak and were last up 21% in late morning trade after the company reported Q4 earnings that beat analyst expectations.
BIG reported Q4 EPS of $1.45, compared to the consensus Thomson-Reuters forecast of $1.40 a share.
Shares changed hands at $35.31 in recent trading after climbing to a session and three-month peak of $35.74.
Share of BIG are still within a 52-week range of $25.50 to $39.22.
