U.S. ETFs brought in around $297.3 billion in the first half of 2022, despite worries about a recession and rising prices. Over a period of three years, the number of active retail investors in the ETF market has nearly tripled. ETFs have seen an increase in assets under management over the last two to three years, according to SGX market strategist Geoff Howie. Exchange traded funds (ETFs) continued to attract investors because of their perceived safety and long-term potential.

Berkshire Hathaway Inc., a company that works in the insurance, freight rail transportation, and utilities industries globally through its subsidiaries, is a holding company in the Vanguard Russell 1000 Value Index Fund.
