Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) is trying its best to launch the iPhone6 within the next few months and there has been speculation that the phone won’t hit the shelves in required number due to production hassles. Speculation aside, now there is confirm news that Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL)’s iPhone 6 will face some delay because of an explosion inside a factory in China, which affected Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL)’s supplier Foxconn’s production facility in the vicinity.
Fox Business reported about the explosion and the impact that it will likely cause on the production of the iPhone 6, today.
“A deadly explosion at a Chinese plant over the week-end has caused nearby factories to halt production, including Foxconn, a major Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) supplier. Now there is concern that, that production halt may delay the upcoming release of Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL)’s newest phone. Foxconn recently hired 10,000 new staff to handle the expected demand for iPhone 6,” the report said.
