On a company blog, Microsoft Corporation(NASDAQ:MSFT), citing data from NPD Group, said that in March it sold 311,000 Xbox One units. The company said it sold an average of 2.9 games per console. In March, Microsoft also sold 111,000 Xbox 360 units, and across the combined Xbox platforms, the company sold 4.1M games. Since launching Xbox One in November, the company has sold more than 5M consoles.

Analysts have a consensus price target of $37.28 on Microsoft Corporation(NASDAQ:MSFT) which indicates a 6.34% downside. The consensus rating of the stock is a HOLD with a score of 2.24. There are currently 19 Hold Ratings, 11 Buy ratings and 3 Sell ratings on the stock.

The most recent analyst action consisted of RBC Capital boosting their price target on the stock from $37 to $44.

Microsoft has a 200 day moving average of $37 and a 50 day moving average of $39.  Analysts have a current quarter consensus EPS estimate of $2.70.
