While trying to find songs to test out as a beginner guitar player, you should know which famous songs are the easiest to play on guitar.
Reaching the advanced level in guitar playing can be tough. But you do not think that you cannot play great songs if you have not reached that level of skill because quite a few memorable songs have very simple tunes that get stuck to your head. The White Stripe’s “Seven Nation Army” is one such song. If you can get the intro and verse, you can get the entire song. “Rockin’ in the “Free World” may have two excellent versions by Neil Young and Pearl Jam, but no one denies that the song is fun and easy. There is a basic set of chords and only a few variations. If you can strum through the song a few times, you are sure to catch it. Bob Marley’s “Redemption Song” is another song that you can pick up by playing through it. Even though the original version is tough, there is a simpler version too. Nirvana’s “Smells like Teen Spirit” may have a tough solo part, but the other portions are universally accepted to be very easy. Usually the songs that are easier to pick up will have slower tempo and the guitar tunes will be repetitive in nature. Other examples of the famous and easy songs are The Animal’s “House of the Rising Sun”, The Ramones’ “Blitzkrieg Bop”, and Bo Diddley’s “Bo Diddley”.
