Mobile ads is the hottest area in the billion dollar advertising business. After Facebook and Google Inc (NASDAQ:GOOGL), Amazon.com, Inc. (NASDAQ:AMZN) has also announced some special offers for the app developers. Amazon will promote, advertise ads developed by the developers on its devices like Fire Phone, Kindle and other devices. Facebook and Google Inc (NASDAQ:GOOGL) are already providing in-app ads, search ads and app-install ads developers in order to encourage them to make more apps for their platforms.
Amazon.com, Inc. (NASDAQ:AMZN) has just 0.3% market share in the global mobile ads market of $68.59 billion revenue. Google Inc (NASDAQ:GOOGL) is the leader in the mobile ads space, followed by Facebook.
Amazon will also host app ads in its affiliated apps on its e-commerce websites and software. This would certainly give Amazon.com, Inc. (NASDAQ:AMZN) a push needed push in the mobile space.
Amazon.com, Inc. (NASDAQ:AMZN)’s ads will work in a very simple way. An app developer will just have to pay for the ads campaign, the minimum amount for which is $100. Amazon.com, Inc. (NASDAQ:AMZN) will design the ad and promote the apps. When the viewer of the ad will click it, it will open the Google Inc (NASDAQ:GOOGL) Play Store install link for the app. Amazon is trying to garner more developers for the app development for its Amazon App store.
Facebook, Google Inc (NASDAQ:GOOGL) and Amazon.com, Inc. (NASDAQ:AMZN) are heavily focusing on the mobile ads space. Google is likely to get benefited indirectly from the latest Amazon app ads step because most of the Android developers could not promote their Android apps for Google Play store using Amazon.com, Inc. (NASDAQ:AMZN)’s campaigns.
