Physicians Realty Trust (NYSE:DOC), saw one of it’s leaders lower his position with the company through a transaction initially filed on July 24th, and officially filed today, July 28th. President and Chief Executive Officer John T. Thomas disposed of 10,316 shares of common stock at an average price of $14.49 per share.
Following this transaction, Thomas now has 123,540 shares directly invested into Physicians Realty Trust (NYSE:DOC), the $494.70 million market cap real estate investment trust (REIT). The Company is a self-managed healthcare real estate company that is engaged in acquiring, developing, owning and managing healthcare properties that are leased to physicians, hospitals and healthcare delivery systems.
In addition, multiple hedge funds are involved with the company. Ardsley Partners, the fund run by Phillip Hempleman maintained it’s holdings last quarter, and currently has 615,000 shares worth about $8.5 million; while Michael Thompson‘s Bhr Captial also showed no change in it’s activity, and now has 480,000 shares worth approximately $6.7 million invested in the health care corporation.
