Europe is no doubt a beautiful region of the world with lots of amazing countries to visit and have fun but today we are going to tell you about some of the dirtiest countries in Europe. Insider Monkey has created a list of ten dirtiest countries in Europe: France, Sweden are dirtier than most places. Let’s find out about them by reading Insider Monkey’s article.
We scoured the internet and uncovered a few indicators that can be used for making this kind of a list. First two we used are the studies by European Environment Agency. This agency annually does studies on air pollution and bathing water quality in Europe. Countries with the worst quality air in Europe are Bulgaria, Poland, Slovakia and Greece.
Bathing water quality study didn’t just take water quality in consideration, but beach cleanliness too and made an overall ranking. Albania, Poland, Sweden and Greece ranked the worst.
