Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL)‘s iPhone 5, iPhone 5c and iPhone 5s, all sported 1 GB ram and now it seems the rumored iPhone 6 is going to be no different. MacRumors, a website dedicated to Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL)’s devices, recently came out with a post displaying leaked schematics of the iPhone 6, shared by Chinese Apple repair firm GeekBar, which is said to have come from an internal supply chain source.
Although the said schematic clearly show 1GB RAM, its unknown whether it is for the 4.7-inch version or the 5.5-inch version. If the schematic is true, then Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL)’s iPhone 6 will have a smaller RAM than flagship phones of most of its rivals. It is expected that Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) will unveil the iPhone 6 at an event on September 9, though again, it’s unclear whether both models of the iPhone 6 would be launched simultaneously or one after the other, owing to some speculations regarding production delays of the 5.5-inch model.
